I think one of the bigges...thanks Harold for this.<br /><br />I think one of the biggest outrages of the last few years has been the attempt to connect the religious right in the U.S. with Nazism or fascism (cf. Chris `A no 1 A-hole' Hedges' book of a few years ago).<br /><br />This by the same critics, generally, who'd scream in outrage when the actual fascists of today - Islamic terrorists - are described as such.<br /><br />Whatever qualms I have about the `religious right', they are NOT fascists - and neither were fascists `Christian fundamentalists', as the above passage makes clear.RB Glenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16916044843808043297noreply@blogger.com
